    I think, it’s because DVB-S have problems with multipath, unlike DVB-T.

    Yes I agree, digital is definitely better! (in terms of picture quality, quantity of channels etc.)
    BUT: Simulcast of analog would not really hurt anyone (except for SES Astra who want to use the TPs digitally), especially since it’s very easy to get a signal.
    I even managed to get an analog signal of Astra with a wok pan and a LNB… ;-)
